Holly Run 2011 11th Dec 2011 Brookland Museum, WeybridgeHolly Run 11th Dec 2011 Brookland Museum, Weybridge This year the Holly Run will again start at the Brooklands Museum near Weybridge on Sunday the 11th December. The full address is Brooklands Road, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 0QN for those using sat nav to find the museum. Members can arrive at any time on the Sunday after the museum opens at 10.00am. If you turn up in a BSA or other pre war car I have been promised that we can park in the paddock and entry the site by the Campbell Gate (the old entrance off Brooklands Road). Modern cars will need to use the main entrance (Mercedes world entrance) which is clearly marked. The normal entrance fees will apply (Adults £11.00, Senior Citizens £9.90, children (5-16) £6.05). It would be good to see some more BSA at Brooklands and do try and brave the weather. We plan to leave Brooklands at about 2.30pm, which should give members plenty of time to look around. Members are invited to drive to the chairman’s home at Two Chimney’s, Pinks Hill, Wood Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU3 3BW (Maps will be provided) for mince pies and a festive drink. Guildford is about 6 miles from Brooklands. Please let Peter or Judy know if you will be attending by telephoning 01483 570433, Peter Mobile 07770 224844 or Email here in order that we can plan for the numbers attending. If you will be attending in a BSA let me know so I can advise the museum on the number of cars likely to be attending. |
