The BSAFWDC National Rally was held on 20-21 July 2002 at Bletchley Park. The event attracted some 27 vehicles which is considered a good turnout for a club of 220 members. The furthest distance travelled was clocked by a member from Eindhoven, Holland, who travelled some 230 miles either way in his 4 cylinder trike. |

Of special interest was the attendance of 3 of the 5 known surviving 1922 rear-wheel drive BSA Light Cars (Left). |

|
These cars were powered by the original Hotchkiss version of the BSA Vee Twin engine used in the Front Wheel Drive cars, coupled through a wet cork clutch to a Morris gearbox. Hotchkiss were of course manufacturing engines and gearboxes for the “Bullnose” Morris Cowley at the time. |

Light Car production ceased when Morris bought Hotchkiss’ Coventry plant in 1922 and it became Morris Engines. |
