RALLY PROGRAMME The club holds 6 major rallies throughout the year starting in April and finishing in December. The premier event of the year is the Club National Rally the location of which is moved annually to ensure all members have an opportunity to attend. For many years the club has taken a stall at the Bailee Autojumble which provides a useful focal point for members attending the Autojumble and enables the club to purchase additional spares. REGISTER AND HISTORICAL INFORMATION The club maintains a full register of known BSA FWD and RWD cars. The register is able to provide detailed production information for all Scouts from the Original factory records. This information includes engine and chassis numbers, original colour and special fittings, together with BSA’s factory dispatch details. Knowledge of the BSA FWD cars is extremely limited but the FWD club has done much recently to fill the gaps in our knowledge. Club members have tracked down surviving company records and interviewed former BSA employees who were involved in the design and production of the various FWD and RWD produced at Small Heath between 1929 and 1939.
