I'm not a member of the club, but I thought the club might find this picture of my late father's Scout of interest.
Please feel free to put it on your web site (I'm sure he would have been dead chuffed). I can't tell you much about it unfortunatly other than I understand my father (Terry Hall) bought it locally (Derby) sometime during the period 1953-55, I seem to recall he said he paid about £125 which was a huge amount to him at the time. I'd be really interested to know if it still survives or what history you do have on it.
David Hall
Footnote from Graham Skillen: The car EOF111 is a Series 5, registered May 1938 and doesn't seem to have survived.
Superb shot (1948) of my father's series Two Scout with my mother in the driving seat. The picture was enlarged to about 10"x10" by him and is still incredibly sharp.(never before published) He has fond memories of this car, more than any other of the fine cars that have passed through his hands. l made contact with your club some 10 years ago to try and trace it but at that time there was no record of it. sending pictures is so much easier now with the lnternet! Best wishes, Martyn Cragg. (Down in our records as owned by Mr Cragg, Blackburn, nineteen forties, psb)
